BIOGRAPHY

Hello, I'm Harry Ermawan, a Senior Software Engineer with 8 years of experience building production systems, 6 of them deep in blockchain infrastructure. My focus is wallet infrastructure across both custodial and non-custodial models: ERC-4337 account abstraction, MPC/HSM key management, multisig custody, and multi-chain transaction management across EVM and Solana. I'm an open-source contributor to ethereum.org and Co-Founder of Web3 Dev Bandung, and I'm currently exploring AI agent architecture for on-chain automation workflows.

I believe that technology is about more than just making apps or digitilize business – it's about solving problems, and making an impact to our society.

    May 2023-Nov 2025 | Jakarta, Indonesia.

    Pintu, an Indonesian-based crypto exchange, has marked a significant milestone by securing $113 million USD in its latest funding round, achieving recognition as a leading platform in the cryptocurrency space. With the backing of prominent investors such as Pantera and Coinbase. I designed and implemented the system architecture for the Web3 Crosschain Swap Aggregator and the Web3 EVM Swap Aggregator, averaging ~$70k/day in swap volume. I developed MPC Web3 wallets for NFTs and for token/cryptocurrency management, contributed to transaction management and market screener systems, and maintained Web3 systems serving ~8k unique users/day.

  • Software Engineer II - Earn & Staking @Pintu Crypto

    I architected and developed Flexible Earn (AUM > $18M) and Locked Earn (AUM > $600k), and managed 20% of AUM earned through staking validator features and internal tooling. I engineered components for PTU Staking, judged and created an internal engineer DeFi trading competition with a $15k prize pool, and spoke at Web3 events including live-coding ERC-721 at GDG Medan.

As Technical Lead for Supply Chain, I reduced sales revenue loss by ~60% via per-product price locking and a real-time price catalog, and cut user-discovery time by ~70% through no-code/low-code MVP iteration, collaborating across CEO, Head of Product, PM, Marketing, Sales and Ops.

    Founding/early engineer in the Supply Chain and Marketplaces business unit, specialising in zero-to-one products. Built the Fresh-Hub apps and API, capturing 25,000+ data points in areas with poor network coverage, and migrated the API from monolith to microservices using Domain-Driven Design. Cut service downtime by ~80% by moving business-unit data off the Sheets API onto an RDBMS, initiated a design system, consolidated repos into a monorepo, and founded an engineering blog reaching 2,000+ monthly readers.

    Chipin is pioneering platform in the crowdfunding space, focusing on enabling investors to buy stock (tokenized) in private companies. I was responsible for building the platform from scratch, including the frontend, backend, and smart contract development. As a founding engineer, I managed two freelance engineers, removed transaction bottlenecks with mutexes, researched VeChain and Proof-of-Authority for stock tokenisation, and established a ReactJS design system.

    Ralali.com is an online B2B online marketplace that provide an easy transaction process through technology and features to help seller and buyer doing their business easier, safer and more transparent. I built a dedicated SKU application that cut third-party warehouse and SKU management costs, developed components and revamped pages for the marketplace, and improved SEO by ~20% via dynamic URLs in search results. I also researched and implemented the Ralali loyalty point system on Stellar (SCP consensus).
